RULES FOR SHOPPING IN THE ČD E-SHOP AND MŮJ VLAK APP

A. General Part, Common for Domestic and International Transport

For the use of documents purchased through the ČD e-shop, the following apply:

  • The Contractual Transport Conditions of Czech Railways for Public Railway Passenger Transport (hereinafter ČD SPPO).
  • The Tariff of Czech Railways for Domestic Passenger and Baggage Transport (hereinafter ČD tariff).
  • The Convention concerning International Carriage by Rail (COTIF),
  • Uniform Legal Regulations for the Contract of International Railway Passenger Transport (CIV).
  • Tariff and Transport Conditions of Czech Railways in International Transport (TPPM),
  • Transport Conditions of Integrated Transport Systems (IDS) or the Unified Tariff System of the Ministry of Transport of the Czech Republic (SJT, OneTicket), if the passenger is checked in according to them.

For the case of out-of-court resolution of a consumer dispute, the Czech Trade Inspection Authority, Štěpánská 567/15, 120 00 Prague 2 (adr.coi.cz, adr@coi.cz) is the competent authority. In the case of purchases in the ČD e-shop or via the TeleTiket service, the platform for out-of-court resolution of disputes online at http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/ can also be used for out-of-court resolution of a consumer dispute. The e-mail address of ČD according to Article 14 Paragraph 1 of the Regulation of the EP and the Council No. 524/2013 on the resolution of consumer disputes online and on the amendment of Regulation (EC) No. 2006/2004 and Directive 2009/22/EC (Regulation on the resolution of consumer disputes online) is info@cd.cz.

These rules are processed in two language versions (Czech and English), with the Czech version being decisive in case of doubts.
An eTiket document refers to a document purchased through the ČD e-shop, or the Můj vlak app (e.g.: ticket, related travel documents, preliminary In Karta etc.).

1.    Purchase

1.1.    Purchases in the ČD e-shop are possible at any time, except for a system maintenance break scheduled daily from 1:00 to 2:00. In the event of extraordinary outages, customers will be informed on the ČD website.
1.1.1.    Mediation of ticket purchases for another person in the ČD e-shop is possible only on the basis of a contract concluded between the intermediary and Czech Railways.
1.1.2.    Online sale of travel documents on the partner's platform via the ČD API interface is subject to separate commercial conditions of the partner. The output is a standard eTiket document, with the method of payment ČD API indicated and the seller listed. In such a paid document, Czech Railways do not have information about the method of payment, its course, and success, and all payment complaints must be filed with the partner where the document was purchased. Rights from the transport contract can be claimed both on the partner's platform (request for a return of the entire document), where the document was purchased, and in the ČD e-shop (however, it is not possible to exchange a seat reservation). The refund is made by the partner where the document was purchased in both cases.

1.2.    The Czech Railways website offers the possibility of registering a user account. The following information is required for registration:

a)    first and last name,

b)    e-mail (username).

1.3.    To confirm the registration, all mandatory data must be truthfully filled out in Latin and consent to the Terms of Operation and confirmation of acquaintance with the Personal Data Protection conditions is required. As part of the registration processing, the customer is sent information about the next steps in activating the account to the specified e-mail address. Until activation is performed, it is not possible to log in the customer and enter a password.

1.4.    The ČD e-shop also offers the possibility of registering an In Karta. The following data are required for this registration:

a)    In Karta number,

b)    password (received by the customer with a new In Karta, or upon request at the cashier's counter; forgotten password can be reset at https://www.cd.cz/profil-uzivatele/spravce-inkaret/zapomenute-heslo/).

1.4.1.    A Virtual In Karta, acquired in the Můj vlak app (directly, or by transitioning from the image of a plastic In Karta), is registered in the e-shop and automatically assigned to the account; Virtual In Karta has no password.
1.4.2.    In the Můj vlak app, an image of a plastic In Karta can be added as an In Karta entered in the user profile (password for the In Karta is not required), or any other valid In Karta (password required).
1.4.3.    If the customer requests a duplicate after the expiration of the In Karta, it is necessary to remove the invalid In Karta in the app and enter a new one.

1.5.    It is possible to cancel the contents of the shopping cart up to the moment of payment. If there is 30 minutes of inactivity, the customer is automatically logged out and the shopping cart is deleted.

1.6.    The minimum total price of documents in the shopping cart is 1 CZK, the maximum price is 100,000 CZK for card payments, 30,000 CZK for payments from the ČD Credit account.

1.7.    After payment, a non-transferable eTiket document is generated as a PDF document, which is available in the browser window with confirmation of a successful purchase and is also sent to the electronic address provided at the time of purchase, or upon registration.
1.7.1.    In the Můj vlak app and when purchasing on www.cd.cz/eshop from a mobile phone, a ticket in the form of a 2D code is displayed after payment.
1.7.1.1.    In Apple phones, the option from the eTiket ticket allows selected travel documents to be saved in the Apple Wallet.
1.7.2.    ČD is not responsible for delivery to the electronic address (e-mail), its functionality is entirely within the competence of the customer. They are also not responsible for the functionality of data communication and its sufficient speed. For registered users who are logged in at the time of purchase, the document is further saved to the purchase history, which is accessible after logging in.
1.7.3.    When paying by card, after entering and sending the details of the payment card, we recommend waiting for the result of the transaction processing and not using the "Back" button of the internet browser, nor the button for updating the page (F5), and not leaving the web page even if you see a message about the successful completion of the payment on the pages of the payment application (gateway). These steps can lead to interruption of data communication between the payment gateway and the ČD e-shop. Always wait for the return from the payment application back to the ČD e-shop pages.
1.7.3.1.    If the page with confirmation of a successful purchase is not displayed, it can be assumed that the payment transaction was unsuccessful. In such a case, always verify
a)    whether the ticket was sent by e-mail (check your e-mail inbox, including the "Unsolicited Mail/SPAM" folder),
b)    for registered and b)     for registered and logged-in customers at the time of purchase, whether the ticket is displayed in the purchase history,
c)     at the ČD Central Customer Service, tel. 221 111 122, whether the documents were actually sent.
1.7.3.2.    If it has been verified that the requested travel documents have not been issued, it is necessary to repeat the purchase or payment of the shopping cart.
1.7.3.3.    In rare cases, it may happen that the amount for payment is blocked on the customer's bank account, or even, very exceptionally, that the amount is withdrawn. This situation can occur if you use an antivirus system that performs payment operations in "protected browser" mode (e.g., with the Kaspersky system). In this case, do not use the "protected browser" mode for payments in the ČD e-shop and Můj vlak app, or enter the ČD e-shop pages as exceptions.
1.7.3.4.    Releasing blocked amounts in case of an unsuccessful transaction is done automatically within 60 minutes of the last payment attempt, any administrative interventions are carried out on weekdays during usual working hours from 7:00 to 15:00 due to the need for special permissions for these operations. Requests for releasing blocked amounts or checking payment transactions can be made via the contact form at https://www.cd.cz/kontaktni-formular/.
1.7.3.5.    Payment of one basket can be repeated a maximum of six times for security reasons by selecting Pay in the e-shop. Afterward, the order is canceled and the cart is emptied.
1.7.4.    The passenger is responsible for the sufficient quality of the document printout. The print quality can be verified using a sample available at https://www.cd.cz/e-shop/doklady/-27855/. The ticket must be printed fully, without any manipulation using PDF editing software or blocking of printing advertisements and graphics.
1.7.5.    If the passenger is not delivered a ticket before the departure of the train, they board the train as a passenger without a valid ticket, with all the consequences that arise from it.
1.7.5.1.    Also considered invalid is a ticket with a discount Vlak+ for a return journey, which was not activated in the prescribed manner at the event location (usually by scanning the 2D code, with an active data connection and location services turned on).
1.7.6.    No consideration will be given to a complaint about an incorrect purchase by the passenger.
1.7.7.    The Můj vlak app mediates the purchase of so-called SMS tickets for selected cities in the Czech Republic (Brno, České Budějovice, Hradec Králové, Cheb, Karlovy Vary, Liberec, Olomouc, Ostrava, Pardubice, Plzeň, Prague, Sokolov, Tábor, Ústí nad Labem, Zlín and Otrokovice). The actual purchase of the SMS ticket takes place outside the Můj vlak app, which only constructs the correct form according to the pre-selected city and pre-fills the phone number. The text message is sent by the customer with the understanding that the price of the MHD ticket will be charged as part of their telephone bill settlement, or immediately deducted from their phone credit. Czech Railways have no contractual relationship with the provider of SMS MHD tickets or with transport companies. The condition for using the service is the activation of premium services and the use of a SIM card of a Czech mobile operator.

1.8.    Upon request, the passenger is obliged to prove their name and surname with a personal document or a card issued by Czech Railways, another carrier, IDS card, or a public transport card, if they contain the name, surname, and a photograph, or with an ISIC or ITIC card.
1.8.1.1.    A travel document or related travel document purchased for the In Business application on a plastic In Karta must contain the name of the company listed on the In Karta presented by the passenger together with the eTiket document.

1.9.    For OneTicket travel documents, the proof is a personal document.

1.10.    If the passenger does not present a document or if the name, surname, or photograph (the passenger may be asked to remove respiratory protection if its wearing is mandatory) does not match the data on the document, or presents a travel document purchased for another day (different period), it is considered invalid. A document is also considered invalid if it is damaged, has an unreadable graphic code (including a 2D code, presented on a mobile phone, e.g., with a cracked display, making the code unreadable), has unreadable or altered data, is presented duplicately by two or several passengers or repeatedly (already used). If a child under 15 is accompanied by a passenger with their own document according to the Rules for purchase in the e-shop, the same name and surname as for the accompanying person may be used for the child's document.

1.11.    An eTiket document purchased via the internet is an electronic tax document according to § 26, paragraph 3 of the Act No. 235/2004 Coll. on value-added tax in the current wording. If the price of the travel document exceeds the amount of 10,000 CZK, it is possible to enter the data for issuing a tax document (regular). By agreeing to these Rules for purchase in the ČD e-shop, the customer expresses consent to the issuance and sending of the tax document in electronic form.

1.12.    A ticket for an individual journey or a time ticket within its validity for the intended journey is direct travel documents, representing a separate transport contract.

1.13.    Contacts
1.13.1.    České dráhy Central Customer Service, tel. 221 111 122 or https://www.cd.cz/kontaktni-formular/.

2.    Payment

After agreeing to these Rules for purchase in the ČD e-shop and the Můj vlak app, the customer can choose one of the following payment methods for the documents:
2.1.    By credit card
2.1.1.    To ensure secure payment over the internet, the passenger is redirected to a payment portal (gateway) that ensures security through 3D Secure technology. For standard credit card payments, the payment is made on the ČSOB payment gateway, which allows customers registered on the ČD website to save one or more credit cards for repeated use. At the same time, entering CCV/CVC codes and, for cards with full 3D Secure support, also confirmation in the mobile banking app, sending authorization SMS, or entering a PIN or password according to the conditions of the issuing bank of the payment card is maintained.
2.1.1.1.    If a purchase is made in the Můj vlak app and authorization in the mobile banking app is required, the customer must switch back to the Můj vlak app after authorization in the mobile banking app, where the purchase is completed. Depending on the setting of the banking application, automatic redirection may also occur.
2.1.2.    The Na klik payment in the Můj vlak app enables the simplification and acceleration of card payment. After making a reference payment, further payments are made without entering the card number, its validity, CCV/CVC code, and without sending an SMS. Payment security depends on the security of the phone (PIN code, fingerprint, face recognition). In some cases, payment confirmation may also be required using 3D Secure technology. Consent to Na klik payments ends with an attempt to pay with an expired or uncovered card, or if the reference payment is returned.

2.1.3.    Depending on the mobile phone's operating system, payments in the Můj vlak app can be made using Apple Pay (ČSOB payment gateway) and Google Pay (ČSOB or GP webpay payment gateway).

2.1.4.    Credit card details are always entered directly on the payment portal's pages. České dráhy only receives the transaction result. Payments are identified by the order number. Storing the card for repeated payments is done on the payment portal.

2.1.5.    The 3D Secure system for secure internet payments generally allows the acceptance of all VISA, MasterCard, and American Express cards authorized by the card issuer for secure internet payment using this technology. These may include VISA, VISA Electron, MasterCard, Maestro, MasterCard Electronic, MasterCard Mobile, and MasterCard Unembossed cards. Maestro cards can only be used if they are 3D Secure protected by the issuing bank. The card issuer will inform whether a payment card can be used for internet payments with 3D Secure technology.

2.2.    ČD Credit Prepaid Account

2.2.1.    Customers who are registered and logged in to the České dráhy customer account can activate the ČD Credit payment method in the ČD e-shop. They can deposit funds into it via the ČD e-shop, Můj vlak app, or any ticket counter and use them to pay for purchases in the ČD e-shop or Můj vlak app. Detailed conditions for setting up and using the ČD Credit account are available at https://www.cd.cz/cdkredit.

B. Domestic Transport

3.    Purchase

3.1.    In the ČD e-shop and Můj vlak app, it is not possible to purchase tickets with more than 6 transfers, time tickets with public transport options, MPS tickets for some areas, domestic sleeper or couchette supplements, IDS travel documents (except for IDS JMK, IDPK, IDZK, and ODIS), travel documents from or to the state border, and documents for routes and trains of other carriers not part of the Unified Tariff System.

3.1.1.    Furthermore, purchasing in the ČD e-shop (https://www.cd.cz/eshop/) has the following restrictions:

  • a) It's not possible to purchase a monthly – 10-day route ticket and a route ticket without an In Karta link.
  • b) It's not possible to obtain a virtual In Karta or switch to it from a plastic In Karta.
  • c) It's not possible to purchase tickets with the Vlak+ discount.
  • d) It's not possible to purchase SMS public transport tickets.
  • e) It's not possible to pick up free seat reservations for documents such as the monthly – 10-day route ticket, route ticket without an In Karta link, Shared IN 100, and Virtual IN Business.

3.1.2.    Purchasing in the Můj vlak app has the following restrictions:

  • a) It's not possible to top up the EP account on an In Karta.
  • b) It's not possible to purchase sleeper and couchette supplements for some routes.
  • c) It's not possible to purchase documents for car trains.
  • d) It's not possible to exercise rights from the transport contract for applications on an In Karta, including route tickets (except for the Monthly – 10-day route ticket and route tickets without an In Karta link, purchased in the Můj vlak app).
  • e) It's not possible to purchase the Virtual IN Business application (only daily documents can be activated).

3.1.3.    The app operates fully only when used in its latest version.

3.2.    eTickets for domestic transport can be purchased no earlier than 60 days and no later than at the time of the train's departure, and for trains requiring reservations, until they are sold out. 3.2.1.    The purchase must be completed no later than the actual departure time of the train from the station shown on the “from” part of the travel document. Documents purchased later will be considered invalid by the conductor.

3.3.    The travel document is valid from the date and time printed on the eTicket. If purchased through the connection search engine, it can be used no earlier than 15 minutes before the start of its validity.

3.4.    Changing the search engine's "Transfer Time" parameter does not create a right to wait for a connection at the transfer station; the decisive factor is the transfer time set and announced by the carrier for that station.

3.5.    For travel using trains of other carriers, in the Ticket Choice step (in the Můj vlak app in the Ticket step), one must select the OneTicket document or ČD Ticket for part of the route with an additional ticket purchase for the remainder of the journey with another carrier.

  • 3.5.1.    No loyalty ČD Points are awarded for OneTicket and IDS documents, and seat reservations for them are always charged according to the ČD tariff, even for ČD trains.
  • 3.5.2.    OneTicket documents cannot be purchased for commercial character trains of other carriers.

3.6.    If a domestic ticket with a reservation is on the same document, the ticket can be used on a different, later train than stated on the eTicket (for a Bound ticket after paying the difference according to the ČD tariff), but the reservation in this case expires.

3.7.    When requesting to pick up a free reservation for a route ticket, it is required to enter the starting and ending stations according to the route ticket, not just the segment for which the reservation is requested.

3.8.    After purchasing the Monthly Route Ticket – 10 days, Shared IN 100, and Virtual IN Business tickets in the Můj vlak app, a so-called root document is generated. This document is not used as a ticket itself but is used to activate individual travel days.

3.8.1.    Můj vlak app users who are logged in and have a Virtual In Karta can request access to Shared IN 100 or Virtual IN Business tickets by entering the shared ticket code. The user receives this code from the ticket manager. By requesting access, the user acknowledges that they provide their personal information - name, surname, and email address from the Virtual In Karta - to the ticket manager, who then decides on access to the shared ticket. The user is informed about the decision via email. These personal details are then attached to the shared ticket in the ticket manager's administrative interface. If the user cancels their Virtual In Karta or registration on the www.cd.cz portal, they will no longer be able to use the shared tickets.

3.8.2.    A Můj vlak app user, who has been granted permission by the ticket manager to use a shared ticket, can activate any unoccupied day for the shared ticket, for which a daily document serving as a ticket will be generated.

3.9.    Before starting the return journey with a Vlak+ discount ticket, it is necessary to activate the ticket in the prescribed manner, typically by scanning the 2D code at the event location, no later than 23:59 hours on the first day of the ticket's validity.

3.10.    If an eTicket document includes a ticket for multiple persons, or tickets and reservations, or related travel documents for a dog or luggage, the name and surname of only one traveler, who must travel unconditionally, will be indicated on the document. This traveler is required to present an ID with the matching name and surname indicated on the eTicket during ticket inspections on the train. Otherwise, the document is invalid. All travelers checked in with this eTicket document will be considered as travelers without valid travel documents and will pay the fare they are entitled to, with a surcharge according to the ČD SPPO.

3.11.    A single traveler can present multiple eTickets in their name and surname with different transaction codes (e.g., for other travelers) on the train.

3.12.    To purchase travel documents separately for each traveler, it is necessary to check the box "Ticket for each traveler separately" during the purchase process in the Journey step and then enter the names and surnames of the travelers in the Traveler Identity step.

3.13.    The same procedure is followed if a tax document is required for each traveler separately. Issuing additional tax documents for each traveler for a ticket with multiple travelers is not possible.

4.    Document

4.1.    According to ČD SPPO, a domestic eTicket can be presented for inspection as:

a)    printed on white A4 paper,

b)    as a displayed PDF file on the screen of a portable electronic device (legibility of text and 2D code must be maintained),

c)    as a 2D code displayed at the end of the purchase or the document in the Apple Wallet,

d)    by communicating the alphanumeric transaction code,

e)    by presenting an In Karta or IDS Card to which it was purchased.

4.1.1.    In cases a) to d), the traveler must prove their identity upon request (always for time documents) by presenting the ID to which the eTicket was issued. Any presented PDF file with the travel document must be electronically stored by the traveler so that it is immediately displayable for inspection by train staff and is not directly dependent on internet signal reception or battery status. In case of device malfunction, the traveler is required to pay the fare they are entitled to on the train, including a surcharge according to ČD SPPO.

4.1.2.    The OneTicket travel document and the IDS tariff document must be presented only as printed or displayed on the screen of a portable electronic device.

5.    In Karta and IDS Card

5.1.    In Karta / IDS Card is available in the following variants:

a)    contactless chip In Karta,

b)    In Karta in a mobile phone (in the Můj vlak app), either as a Virtual In Karta or an Image of the Chip In Karta,

c)    preliminary paper In Karta, issued by ČD counters or the ČD e-shop,

d)    IDS Card as a chip card of another entity, activated or registered with ČD.

5.2.    Based on the preliminary In Karta, a chip In Karta can only be picked up in person at ČD counters, it cannot be sent by mail. The IDS Card can only be activated at selected ticket counters within the IDS or agreed with the card issuer.

5.3.    The plastic In Karta (its image in the Můj vlak app) can be transferred for free, including discount applications, to a Virtual In Karta.
5.3.1.    The electronic wallet cannot be transferred.
5.3.2.    The original, plastic, In Karta remains valid, for example, as an identifier in IDS.

6.    Conditions for Exercising Rights from the Transport Contract with eTickets (Refunds)

6.1.    The relevant provisions of ČD SPPO apply to exercising rights from the transport contract for domestic eTicket documents.
6.1.1.    For OneTicket travel documents purchased in the ČD e-shop, the right from the transport contract can only be exercised in the ČD e-shop. The discount before the start of the document's validity is 0 CZK.
6.1.2.    Different conditions, announced in the tariff and contractual conditions of the individual IDS, may apply for refunds of documents purchased under the IDS tariff.
6.1.3.    Applications on a virtual In Karta, transferred during the transition from the image of a plastic In Karta to a Virtual In Karta, can only be refunded due to non-use at a ČD counter. The right cannot be exercised through the Můj vlak app or from www.cd.cz/eshop.

6.2.    Rights from the transport contract can be exercised on www.cd.cz/eshop and in the Můj vlak app (see however point 3.1.2).
6.2.1.    Registered and logged-in users exercise their request:

a)    in the e-shop at www.cd.cz/eshop by selecting the document from the menu Return and Exchange Ticket or from the tab My Purchases Purchase History by choosing Return / Change in the Choose Action menu,

b)    in the Můj vlak app under the Tickets tab by selecting the document and choosing Return / Change.

6.2.2.    Non-logged-in users follow a similar process, but instead of selecting the document from purchase history, they enter the transaction code and the email of the user who purchased the document.
6.2.3.    Rights from the transport contract cannot be exercised in case of topping up the wallet on an In Karta, topping up the ČD Credit account, or for gift vouchers.

6.3.    To acknowledge a refund after the start of the ticket's validity, in most cases, it is necessary to provide confirmation from the conductor or station. A copy of the confirmation can be attached as an annex to the request before sending it in the e-shop or Můj vlak app environment. If you request a refund before completing the journey, the ticket becomes invalid.

6.4.    A travel document for which rights from the transport contract have been exercised is invalid and travel cannot be carried out on this document. A traveler presenting such a document on the train will be considered as a traveler without a valid ticket and will pay the fare they are entitled to, plus a surcharge according to ČD SPPO.

6.5.    When processing the exercised right from the transport contract for an eTicket document, which includes several tickets (or tickets and reservations), the discount is calculated according to ČD SPPO for each ticket separately, and for reservations, for each seat. The actual number of tickets and reservations is stated in the eTicket document in the Tax Document part (price information).

6.6.    In case of a refund for only some tickets or reservations in a combined document, the original combined document is invalidated, and a duplicate is created and sent with the remaining valid tickets and reservations, which the traveler presents for inspection on the train.
6.6.1.    It is not possible to reduce the number of travelers for a multi-person reservation; the entire reservation must always be returned.
6.6.2.    When exchanging a reservation, the validity and routing of the original ticket do not change, only a "duplicate" is created with a new transaction number and a reservation for a new train.

6.7.    Acknowledged amounts will be paid to the traveler by bank transfer to the account from which the travel document was paid, or to the ČD Credit account. In the case of payment by voucher or credit note, a new voucher is issued.
6.7.1.    The refund to a bank account, in case of a positive resolution of the request, is credited no later than three days.
6.7.1.1.    If the right from the transport contract (full ticket refund, 0 CZK discount) was exercised on the day of purchase, up to 15 minutes before the start of the document's validity (up to the start of the document's validity for OneTicket documents), the block on the customer's account is usually canceled without accounting.
6.7.2.    The refund to the ČD Credit account, in case of a positive resolution of the request, is credited in real-time.
6.7.3.    In case of a refund by issuing a new voucher, the value of the new voucher equals the sum of the values of the used vouchers.

6.8.    Claims for compensation for delayed arrival in accordance with ČD SPPO can be exercised through the appropriate tab of the contact form at https://www.cd.cz/kontaktni-formular/, in the Můj vlak app, or by printing the eTicket and filling out the form at a ČD counter.

C. International Transport

Unless otherwise stated, the conditions published in the Tariff and Transport Conditions of České dráhy in international transport (TPPM) apply.

7.    Ticket

7.1.    According to TPPM ČD, an international eTicket can be presented for inspection as:

a)    printed on white A4 paper,

b)    as a displayed PDF file on the screen of a portable electronic device (text and 2D code readability must be preserved), except for documents to/from Ukraine, which must always be printed,

c)    as a ticket from the Můj vlak app.

7.1.1.    The passenger is required to prove their identity by presenting the ID to which the eTicket was issued. Any presented PDF file with the travel document must be electronically stored by the passenger so that it is immediately displayable for inspection by train staff and is not directly dependent on internet signal reception or battery status. In case of device malfunction, the passenger is required to pay the fare they are entitled to on the train, including a surcharge according to the conditions of the carrier conducting the inspection.
7.1.2.    The travel document cannot be presented only as a transaction code or in the form of presenting an In Karta or ČD Card to which it was purchased.

7.2.    A group weekend ticket and a luggage document purchased in the ČD e-shop are not valid abroad and on routes of other railway carriers.

7.3.    If a passenger has purchased an eTicket document to Ukraine, they are obliged to have it stamped by the ČD train crew or at a ČD counter at the station before boarding the train (i.e., at the latest before the border crossing station or at the border crossing station). An unstamped document is invalid. If necessary, the passenger must actively seek out the ČD conductor and request stamping. In transport with UZ, only documents to selected Ukrainian stations are offered. Check-in for transport with Ukraine is only possible in the ČD e-shop, either for a one-way trip from the Czech Republic or for a simultaneous purchase of a document there and back. The final document must always be printed.
7.3.1.    The travel document can be issued for multiple passengers (up to 5 people) or the passenger can opt for the option to select "Ticket for each passenger separately" (in the Journey step, part Travelers) and then enter the names and surnames of all passengers. In the case of a combined document for multiple passengers, it is essential that the person whose name and surname are on the document travels unconditionally. If such a person cannot travel, it is necessary to return the travel documents and purchase new ones, if the transport conditions of such purchased documents allow. Returning documents in such cases is not free of charge and is subject to cancellation conditions, as stated below and published in the Special Agreement for International Transport for individual types of documents.

If it is required to provide evidence of certain facts, this can be done in the Reason Specification field.
9.1.1.1.    Partial refunds for untraveled routes are not carried out for international eTicket documents, documents from the Můj vlak app. If the number of persons in a document for multiple persons is reduced, the entire document must be returned within the set deadline for individual types of travel documents. Documents to be returned are normally marked by the customer, and UPPS is then carried out from these.

If the customer first purchases a document for the new scope of services (e.g., a lower number of passengers) on the same day and marks the unused documents (persons or services), the deduction will only be made for such marked unused documents when processing the exercised right from the transport contract.
