Airport Express

The AE bus line operates daily at regular 30-minute intervals. In the direction of Václav Havel Airport Prague, this connection can be used from 5:30 (a.m.) until 22:00 (10:00 p.m.), and in the opposite direction from 5:30 (a.m.) until 20:53 (8:53 p.m.). The line is served mostly by low-floor buses providing easy boarding and sufficient space for stowing luggage.

The Airport Express line commenced operations again on 1 July 2021.

VLAK+ letiště (VLAK+ Airport)

Travel to Václav Havel Airport Prague by train with a connecting bus using the affordable VLAK+ letiště (VLAK+ Airport) ticket with an extended term of validity.

With the VLAK+ letiště (VLAK+ Airport) ticket, we’ll transport you to the airport in comfort, and back home again after your return from abroad – all at discounted price. Just purchase a return VLAK+ letiště (VLAK+ Airport) ticket for 2nd class travel and you’ll be issued two tickets (the first ticket is intended for the train to Prague). At Prague Main Station (Praha hl. n.), transfer to the AE bus line where you’ll use the second ticket (intended for the bus). In just half an hour you’ll be at the airport in front of Terminals 1 and 2.

But definitely don’t throw away your train ticket or your bus ticket. After your arrival from abroad, if you have both tickets validated with a ČD date stamp at any Václav Havel Airport Prague information desk or at a tourist information centre operated by Prague City Tourism (PIS, located in arrival terminals T1 and T2), you’ll then be able to travel back home on the AE line (where you’ll present the second ticket intended for the AE bus line) and subsequently by train (where you’ll present the first ticket intended for the train) to the station specified on your ticket as the boarding station.

We would like to inform passengers that due to unpredictable traffic conditions on the AE line’s route, travel times may be prolonged. For this reason, it is advisable to select connections which allow for commensurate extra time.
